Taking a person-centered approach to clinical care, Joey focuses on meeting individuals where they are in their own process. With emphasis on attachment behavior and strength-based counseling approaches, Joey believes in the power of a shared responsibility in relationships with clients. His experience and skills in working with individuals and families aid our clients in the successful navigation of healing. Joey emphasizes the importance of boundaries, secure attachment and communication effectiveness in our family programming.
Joey received his Masters in Healthcare Administration and Management from Colorado State University. Additionally, he is a Certified Addiction Specialist and a Wilderness First Responder. His interests in hobbies like rock climbing, cycling and other outdoor recreation activities are a few ways that Joey utilizes experiential therapy models to help clients to gain a different perspective on their own experience.
