Drug Rehab Centers Near Denver, Colorado
It has been a while since I have posted about my visits to various treatment centers around the country but I thought I would post a blog about some drug and alcohol rehab centers that are not IN Denver but are close and offer an excellent addiction treatment program that might be worth the plane ticket.Arizona:In the past year I have visited Cottonwood De Tucson, Sierra Tucson and The Meadows.Cottonwood De Tucson is an excellent drug and alcohol rehab and addiction treatment facility. The feeling of this program is small and intimate with a high client to staff ratio. The clinical staff of this program are very sincere and caring and many have been working there for a long time. I especially enjoyed learning about their psychodrama and equine therapy offerings. This is definitely a top notch facility for clients in need of substance abuse treatment and even clients with co-occurring mental health.Sierra Tucson’s drug and alcohol rehab center is much larger than Cottonwood and offers several different tracks. There is a chemical dependency track, chronic pain track, mood disorder track and some other “tracks.” Sierra Tucson is an original pioneer of addiction treatment and has excellent medical care and clinicians. The feeling at sierra Tucson is more “corporate” and less intimate than Cottonwood but this is likely because it is a much larger program and they are offering a wider breadth of services. This being said, the property is beautiful and resort like and clients would have no problem feeling serene and tranquil here.The Meadows is an addiction treatment center known for also treating trauma. The typical length of stay at The Meadows is 45 days. The Meadows is a truly wonderful drug and alcohol rehab center and trauma treatment center located in Wickenburg about 45 minutes north of Phoenix.Sundance alcohol and drug treatment center is located in Scottsdale Arizona. Sundance provides gender specific addiction treatment in an intimate setting. Sundance is owned by Elements Behavioral Health which is known for operating high quality drug and alcohol treatment programs around the country.Utah:I recently visited Journey Healing Center near Salt Lake City Utah where they have a drug & Alcohol Rehab Center and Sober Living program. What made my visit to journey so great was the dedicated and caring staff, many of whom had been with the treatment center for several years.Although I have not visited personally, Cirq Lodge is also a well known and respected Utah Drug rehab center.California:Promises Malibu. Promises Malibu caters to the celebrity/executive clientele operating a high quality drug and alcohol rehab center in a residential neighborhood in the windy roads overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, CA. Promises offers the full array of psychiatric, clinical and experiential treatments in an intimate luxury setting.Promises West Los Angeles is a drug and alcohol treatment center catering to young adults. Much of the programming at Promises West LA is similar to that at Malibu just catered to young adults and located in town as opposed to Malibu. Promises West LA also offers an intensive outpatient program and sober living facility on the Westside of Los Angeles.Malibu Vista is a boutique mental health treatment facility for women who suffer from personality disorders, depression and anxiety. This program is truly unique in that it offers a beautiful home setting in which clients can work on these issues opposed to the traditional hospital like setting found at other mental health treatment centers across the country.Balboa Horizons drug and alcohol rehab center. I have not personally visited Balboa Horizons but I have met many of their staff and they are an excellent group. An addiction treatment program is only as good as its staff and clinicians so based on this I think Balboa would be an excellent drug and alcohol rehab center in Newport Beach California.PACE Recovery Center drug and alcohol rehab. I have not personally visited PACE but I have met many of their staff and they are an excellent group. An addiction treatment program is only as good as its staff and clinicians so based on this I think PACE would be an excellent drug and alcohol rehab center in Newport Beach California.While Denver and Colorado have some excellent drug and alcohol rehab centers, sometimes it is best for the client to go out of state for treatment. If you are looking for a substance abuse treatment center, addiction treatment center or drug and alcohol rehab center within a short flight of Denver, Colorado I would recommend looking into one of the treatment centers on this blog post.
