The Assistant Clinical Director at The Lodge will oversee all clinical treatment as well as supervise the clinical team. The Assistant Clinical Director is a key member of the leadership team and will represent the treatment team to fulfill NorthStar Transitions’ core purpose of making recovery from addiction possible. They will prioritize high-quality training and implementation of our specialized treatment model, the engagement and delivery of services, and compliance with national and state accreditation bodies. This position requires strong leadership and mentorship skills as well as a spirit for adventure.

Master’s Level Internship Position

  • From June 2021 – May 2022
  • Roughly 20 hours/week
  • All hours to be completed in person

Site Mission / Population

NorthStar Transitions is an adult dual-diagnosis extended care substance abuse treatment program offering sub-acute detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care.

NorthStar Transitions empowers clients with the skills to navigate challenges in addiction recovery and offers opportunities to practice these skills in a therapeutic setting. Through experiential and evidence-based modalities, NorthStar Transitions facilitates highly individualized client-centered care.

  • Supervisors: MA (Masters in Counseling), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor)
