Do you think you have a substance abuse problem? Some signs of a substance abuse issue are prioritizing drugs and alcohol over school, work, relationships and personal health and well being.

Do you think about drinking or drugs throughout the work our school day? Do you need drugs or alcohol to feel “normal?” Have you had any legal trouble as a result of drinking or drugs? Have drugs and alcohol played a role in difficulty with your parents or significant other? If so, it might be time to take a look at your substance abuse and consider seeking treatment for drug or alcohol abuse.

At NorthStar Transitions, we have day and evening drug and alcohol treatment programs to accommodate your schedule.

NorthStar’s daytime intensive outpatient (IOP) drug and alcohol treatment program meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30am-12:30pm. Clients participating in daytime drug and alcohol treatment will also schedule weekly individual and family therapy sessions at their convenience and take random drug and alcohol tests to ensure sobriety. Daytime drug and alcohol treatment is ideal for those who are currently unemployed, in school, work evening hours or care for children who have daytime school.

NorthStar’s evening intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Just as in the daytime rehab program, client’s in the evening drug and alcohol treatment program will be able to schedule weekly individual and family therapy sessions at times convenient to their schedule. Drug and alcohol testing can also be scheduled as convenient or around group times. Evening drug and alcohol treatment allows those who work full-time or have school full-time during the day an opportunity to participate in substance abuse treatment without interrupting their daytime responsibilities.
