Jim Morris, LPCC

Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who graduated with his MA in Counseling Psychology degree from the University of Denver. Jim has over 5 years of experience working in the mental health industry, supporting clients in wilderness therapy, young adult transitional living, and substance abuse rehabilitation programs. Jim is passionate about helping clients develop a newfound sense of confidence through identifying positive beliefs, identity work, and relapse prevention skills. His passion for working in the substance use field stems from receiving excellent professional help when he went through his own personal recovery journey, along with his value of giving back to others. Jim is trained in CBT, DBT, MI, multicultural counseling, and trauma focused interventions.


When Jim isn't at work, he is an outdoor enthusiast including hiking, camping, and skiing. Jim also loves playing basketball, being his own coffee barista, and spending time with his dog.
